Makayla looked beautiful for her special day! Bama and Grandy were able to make the trip and join us for her celebration and everything went wonderful. Makayla stayed awake and happy for the entire service - just passing out during the last hymn. She had three large amounts of water poured on her head and with all her hair she looked pretty drenched but she took it like a pro - not a peep out of her :). Makayla's godparents were unable to attend because they live in Oklahoma, however, we are happy and blessed to have such wonderful people to help watch over her - thank you Donald and Ashley von Borstel (we miss you!).
