Happy 1st Birthday Makayla! Aidan LOVES strawberries ... hopefully you will too! (and since I'm posting this a good eight months later I happen to know that you DO love strawberries - lol).
A little help opening your presents ... a picnic basket with food. Fun for all!
When told to smile this is how it turns out - ha ha! Better just stick to catching him in the moment ... still cute though!
Baby's First Birthday decorations ... our last time for these.
My awesome new birthday shirt and hair bow from the von Borstel's - thank you!
Happy 6th Birthday Madison! Fairy/Princess Birthday Party
Happy birthday to you, happy birthday to you ...
School birthday crown.
A visit to the Detroit zoo. Hmmm .... lets go this way now guys!
My awesome bday shirt and bow from the von Borstel's - thank you!
Hangin' at the beach - Kensington Park.
Sportin' my cool shades.
It took quite awhile before Makayla would actually touch the sand but I was finally able to plop her down and she played some ... didn't move much but had the attitude "if I can't beat em' might as well join em'".

So cute in that sun hat!
Looking for treasure and cool rocks.
This was near the beginning - she did NOT want her body touching the sand! It was hilarious to watch - poor thing!

This went on for quite awhile. Finally Caleb tried to pull Aidan but his feet couldn't quite reach the petals :(.
Madison's Kindergarten Art Fair
Popsicle's from the art fair - now the boys didn't mind attending - lol.

Open house at the Livonia Police Department ... lots of fun free treats, bike helmets and a k-9 drug dog demo - pretty cool!
Livonia, MI floods ... thank goodness our basement was spared ... so many were not as lucky as us! This is the street in front of our house.

Pizza time! Loving pizza is a must to be part of our family - its in our genes ;)
As for this couch the old addage holds true "you get what you pay for". What a piece of junk this buy was! It didn't last long at all so I thought the kids should at least get to have a little fun with it! And hence they created!

Makayla was not so interested in the couch creation so she just "ran" around.
... and got filthy but had fun!

Its no wonder Caleb's running shoes molded ... I can't keep him out of the puddles!
