Hobbs Tears His ACL :(

While chasing a ball outside with the kids Hobbs pulled up shy of getting the ball with a huge yelp that scared us all! A couple of vet visits later it is confirmed that he tore his ACL in his back left knee. He hobbled around on three legs for a week and a half and then went under the knife for the repair - poor Hobbs! While under with anesthia we decided to have some of his skin "bumps" similar to human skin tags removed - a couple on his legs and three on his eyes.

This is the shaved leg that had the IV.
This was the eye with the major "bump" that was removed. He has blue stitches in two different places on this eye and it was slightly shaved so he looked like he was in a bar fight.
Here's the major injury! It was quite a shocking sight at first!

Hobbs is now doing well. Its been two and a half weeks and he just started putting "some" weight on his left leg - a great sign! For the most part he's still a three legged dog but today gave us hope! He has taken over our living room to avoid major stairs and it looks like it may be a permanent move - turns out he's considered a senior citizen now! We were finally able to "play" today and it was almost like having our old Hobbsy back again - we can't wait for that!
